Aa. I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to upload this in time or not. Many feelings were involved drawing this..
Anyway! Today, 25 years ago, Germany finally achieved unification (you know, not the actual fall of the berlin wall, but the official reunification). Yeah! DEUTSCHLAND EINIG VATERLAND!
Happy German Unity Day, my fellow Germans! \(>∀ < \)೨

Title: 25 Jahre Deutsche Wiedervereinigung
Program used: PaintTool SAI & GIMP
Insperation/Idea: I had this idea floating around in my head for a while now. The hand on the left side is Prussia and the hands on the right symbolize the European Union. The hand on the top is North Italy, but the others aren't really specified, so you can think of anybody you like. Oh, and the european flag isn't tattered or anything. (ö- ö ) I just drew it like this to show that everyone is Europe (Does that make sense?). Ähm, everyone is equally holding a bit of the flag. They have to make compromises and put the needs of others before themselves sometimes. Get it? OK. x'D
Criticism/Comment: Omg, I actually cried while drawing this. xD So it took some time, haha.. |o･᷄ ω･᷅)--
*pheww* It hurts my heart to draw Germany crying, but it's a happy cry, so maybe it's alright? Ja? Nein? Sorry..
Also, should I explain the hand on his chest/heart? Well, I thought about what 25 years of unification means for us and how we and/or our relations with other nations changed. ..I got all lachrymose! (/)////(\'')೨ *schäm* So one hand is outstretched to all and the other reaches to his heart.
Everybody has a different opinion about it. I think that's great. So-- eh? Wait, you still don't understand? Oh, well.. I guess that's ok too!
