Description
Antilestes microxanthus is a future descendants of the green shrike-babbler living in the southeast asian rainforests, 30 million years in the future. This is part of the future Antilestidae family. This species lives largely in secluded montane forests. The male is slighly brighter than the female, but the sexual dimorphism is not super flamboyant. The breeding season occurs mainly in May or June. This bird measures around 16 cm in length and feeds on insects and other small invertebrates, as well as sometimes berries.
