The pansy is a happy plant, an old-fashioned little flower with bright petals and designs that growers call “faces.” Plant them in your garden in the spring and enjoy them all through May and June. Summer heat is too much for the little darlings so they fizzle away. . . BUT! . . . If you're lucky, you'll see little rebound from your pansies in September and October as the weather cools down, just before the frosty overnights begin.
In the Victorian language of flowers, the Pansy represented thoughts, and thoughtfulness. So here is a thoughtful way to send your loved one your best wishes!

yes, the inset scery on this carnis definitely the showpiece - I just want to Mary Poppins myself right into that landscape and move into that cottage!
