YUUMEIART.COM 
A remake of my older painting titled Breathe . It was inspired by my visit to China last year. China is the land of my birth and it always pains me to see the air so polluted, even after all these decades, I still can’t breathe freely when I’m there, I have to wear a mask.
Despite China’s recent attempts to clean up the pollution, it will be a long time before the air is clean again. We should have kept our environment clean to begin with instead of trying to fix it after the damage is done.

I like the messages you put into all of your pictures. The environment is a very strong one for you I noticed. I agree with you 100% We shouldn't wait until the damage is done to fix things. It just makes it much harder. It's a shame people don't take things seriously at the moment like they should

It would be so cool to be able to buy masks based off of your Breathe paintings.

That doesn't mean we should not try to fix it though, and praise should me given to progress. It's bad that it has to be fixed in the first place, but don't let that suppress hope for the future.

I do like the first one more because of the colors and look of the eyes. (It feels very sad) It expresses so much about the story behind it.
This one is nice for showing the city though, and red is a very strong color.

I'm also saddened by what China's become, it's always been known for it's beauty but that's been ruined now and I hear it got so bad that farmers were successfully suing the government for the trouble the pollution was causing.
I've never visited but seeing what I've seen from it's smog I don't think I ever want to visit :/, China should be a lesson to the rest of the world on what happens when this issue is ignored.

This is amazing as always
Compared to the previous piece, I love how you added the dreary, dirty-looking environment around her, which adds to the message you're trying to tell. What I liked a bit better about the previous piece is the connection between the viewer and the girl in the picture. In the previous piece, she was looking straight at the camera, closed-up, clenching her chest like she really did have trouble breathing, while here she looks pretty chilled out, with her hands in her pockets, like this pollution is all normal. I get the viewpoint for both of them, but my preference for this aspect would go to the previous piece. What I do like in this new piece is the recurring use of red (in the street lights and the roses) and the way it contrasts with the green of the leaves on her mask and of course, the atmosphere brought by the background.
Also all the people in the background breaking traffic laws
They're both great pieces of art, as expected

we'll soon all need to have some sort of mask in town with the pollution rising... maybe it's time to think of nice design for them
