Storm in my mind,
clouding my thoughts,
drowning inside.
I finally finished after 4 iterations. I’m still not 100% happy with this piece and maybe I’ll revisit it in the future.

Her sorrow unrelenting, rained a flood down upon her. Its bite, its bitter sting chilled her to the bone.
It numbed her fingers, he froze her toes. it sapped from her heart the thrill of every hope, and drained from her all but a toxic apathy.
What now did she know of hope?
What now did she know of love?
Fairy tales all. Ghosts and phantoms.
Illusions sent to haunt her, visions that sat upon the very threshold of her life...
...but never dared to enter within.
The waters of loneliness threatened to overtake her. Soon the flood would drown her...
...but lo. What called her?
Another heart was bleeding?
Another soul in need?
Another voice drowning within the river of sorrowful need?
She rose to her feet. No waters would drown her this day. No miser would claim her heart this night, for there was another out there calling out in desperate need...

I think it turned out looking stunning. But then again, people say that of my work even when I feel like it didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to.
So I completely get the feeling. Still, I think it looks fantastic. Very atmospheric, I feel a slight knit in my stomach when I look at it.

There is still fish left in the sea
With blurry eyes that can not see
The only hope some day will be...

Sometimes even the angels fall
Their peaceful flight would stall
Their eyes rain down forming a sea
Deep as the ocean is this sea
The world is heavy, drags them down
Their fairy wings would break
The more and more they try to crawl
The sooner they would fall
The stars look faint, the sky is black
No cricket songs at night
Even the moon would be seen bright
But there’s no moon for tonight
Sometimes ourselves fall in the sea
When eyes rain down on us
