I've seen this quite some times by now and I like its up-dynamics of light. Reminds me of Japanese aesthetics in its arrangements every time I see it.

That's such a lovely photo! The title adds a nice dimension to the whole image. The light cumulated mostly in the centre of the photo enhances that new meaning.
The sharp, crystal-clear lines of the leaves in focus contrast so well with the blurry background.Β
The composition works so well with only one branch - slightly off-centre - being in focus with the partial frame of those darker leaves along the top of the image.
Even though I usually prefer full-coloured pictures, you made the b&w play so well here that I literally appreciate every single little bit of your image.Β Β
It's truly one-of-a-kind!

I also prefer full color, especially for nature photos, although in this case the b&w made the patterns really pop and it actually looks better than in color. I might go for that more often
