The first thing that came to my mind was an old woman who lives alone, perhaps her husband has passed away and her kids have moved on. She lives in the house that her husband and she had built when they were young. Maybe she had just been tending to its small garden in which her children had played when they grew up. Now she's just resting there, listening to the birds chirping and eating her favorite cookies.
The soft natural lighting and overall mood, the old paper scraps, the "retro" tableware, the lavender and the weathered looking but well tended table - they really create this sense of reminiscence, just sitting in the garden on a late summer afternoon, eating cookies and thinking of the past. The title also fits this perfectly.
