After all these years I didn't know Gyarados is a flying water type. It can't learn fly in the game, and it doesn't seem to fly in the anime. I thought Gyarados was a water dragon type, but it would be too powerful.I drew this picture showing how Gyarados can fly with the help from Pidgeys. Since this idea looks similar to Twitter's Fail Whale, I decided to use the same background.
Gyarados is one of my favorite Pokemon. Gyarados, use Earthquake!

oooh.. i like how u depicted gyarados' emotion.. like royalty.. proud and smug.. haha. cute picture overall.. i love gyarados too.. i was able to get many one hit KOs with it.. the whole flying water type concept for gyarados doesnt make much sense to me either.. lol
