“So…are you doing anything tonight?”Ok, maybe Ryla was never what most people would consider normal but…normal-er at lest.
This is my half of an art trade with she was kind enough to draw Fallen for me, all chibi and cute looking too! [link] she asked that I drew her as she looked before getting mutated. So here she in high school! I hope I did her justice
I was really tempted to draw her in a sexy school girl outfit, but I don’t think that would have worked cuz she’s and American and most schools in America don’t have a dress code. So I gave her a more disheveled look, because I kind of think that she would have been the kind of person that forgot stuff like tucking in her shirt and zipping her fly Xp
This is the best thing I have drawn thus far, and I learned A LOT about coloring and shading in Gimp, gave me some good tips, and I found a few tutorials that helped too. If anybody has any suggestions on how to improve on anything I would LOVE to hear them, I have a lot of room for improvement ^^

Wow, the coloring is really nice. It's the kinda thing I overlooked until you mentioned it, but that is nice.
Ryla certainly doesn't look like the current Ryla we've come to know and love/fear!

Well thank you, if it’s the kind of thing that blends in naturally enough to be over looked then I guess I am doing it right ^^ I made a few mistakes, but I guess that part of the process of learning then : )
No she doesn’t. I think I messed up on getting her personality to come off right, and I forgot her necklace. Oppe! Still had fun though, always enjoy drawing my favorite mutant.

Gez you're gonna make me look bad! lol the shading and lighting are great, you do a better job with clothes then I did, and Blaz is right the left arm is alittle to large but thats no biggie and can be fixed pretty easily. God I'm jealous of how well you did her hair

Aww, thanks. I don’t know, there are still a few problems with spottiness on her cloths and pants. I am rather proud of her hair though. : ) I used a combination of the blur and smudge tool to blend the colors together, and then I used the burn tool to put random strips of color around on the solid non shaded or highlighted parts and smudged and blurred them so it wouldn’t look like it was just one solid piece of color. That gave me a few problems though

well you did a great job on it regardless, I don't notice the spotty ness very much at all.. then again I'm on a school computer so it could just be that lol anyways just keep practicing and MAYBE you'll be as awesome as myself someday, very unlikely actually but keep tryin^^
