Thanks!
Umm...Get inspired by a movie or game and then come up with your own idea for a scene?

Well I ask that cause I wanna give it a try myself but I don't wanna rip off of others or be accused of "stealing". How do you come up with stuff like this without "copying" from others?

Simply using my own imagination. You can only get accused of stealing if you trace someone elseβs picture or heavily reference which means you draw a picture exactly like the other artist has done without making any changes.
Otherwise you may look at others pictures and get inspired by them and then coming up with your own idea for a drawing.

So tracing and heavily referencing something is a big no no then? Okay I'll do my best to avoid that.

For published work it is. Though if youβre practicing to draw something then slight tracing/heavy referencing is helpful especially from photos but thatβs exactly meant for practice. Iβm not the best person at explaining things with words but example: if you trace/heavily reference from a photo of a human, you can learn to draw shapes and anatomy better but if the said photograph if someone elseβs property (and of course thereβs an actual person in the photo) you couldnβt post it online without their permission.
Iβd suggest to search for online anatomy lessons and other help topics. There are plenty of helpful guides how to draw things out there.
