...hahaha, naw I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. Took a lil break from writing grading diplomas for the Zlesdin Spring Grading and used the time wiiiisely... to doodle what Simon Kvark would look like as a horse. That turned out to be funnnn so I suddenly found myself colouring the poor lad.
I ...have no excuse. Horse-i-fication is something all my kids must go through at some point; it's inevitable. I absolutely HAVE drawn my other Zdarloch kids as horses too, though they remain sketches for now Maybe I'll colour them sometime, who knows...

Arabian... obviously. Feisty, fancy little thing, aaaand a certified show-off. Try to outrun him? Haha... good luck trying.
He'd absolutely be the type of horse who wouldn't hesitate to deliver a swift kick if you touched him in a place he disliked. And he certainly wouldn't let just anyone on his back. A guy has standards, you know... :')
And mud... yikes. Avoid the mud at all costs. Wouldn't want to get those hooves dirty.

This is legit on so many levels I can't even: of course, what would the king of show-off be if not the most show-offy, glamourous of them all? That smiiirk and peppy little freckles, oh boy! I'm also ready to bet that grooming sessions with this guy would last hours: until everything is in Perfect Working Order, forget to take out saddle and bridle - or do so anyway and face the backlash, lol. You wouldn't want me to get out in public looking like a ploddy, run-of-the-mill halfblooded peasant, would you? Aaand I'm sure that everybody now wants to see the rest of the gang as horses - the outcome ought to be something glorious alrigh X3

OX would be the common 'initials' of purebred arabians; something you put after their name to indicate their studbook. All purebred Arabs are called 'Name' OX, like the stallion Zonyx OX. Similarly you have XX for thoroughbreds (example Racing Ace XX), or OLD for Oldenburgs (example Weihehold OLD) or FRH for Hanoverians (example Showtime FRH) or DWB, SWB, KWPN... it's mandatory in hotbloods and pretty commonly seen in warmbloods too ^^

It would probably warrant getting at the barn two or three hours early, just to be sure, and pray for him to be in a good mood - otherwise, Godspeed you poor souls. And greys are such an hassle to get clean - especially once they get to the near-white phase: granted, knowing this guy he would avoid mud pits and dirty spots like the plague, but still. You're welcome! And the kids would make a dashing bunch all together <33

SOMETHING like that, yep... and yes, white horses are impossible to keep clean... tails in particular; they always turn yellow, brrr. Not to mention the horror of GRASS STAINS; imo they are much harder to get rid off than the mudstains

Heh yes, teeechnically a palomino would have been a more correct shade for his hair, but once the image of a pristine, white arabian popped into my head I just couldn't shake it. And since purebred OXs don't carry dilution genes that settled it
