I have a few costumes, but I think I'mma wear my arkham asylum Scarecrow ouo the mask is just so hot, so I'm not sure how long I'll be able to keep it on in the middle of July.

Nice!! Maybe it won't be so bad in the air conditioned theater? My costume is full body spandex so I'm kinda concerned about the heat too.. but it's okay I get to be NIGHTWING! Oh my god I wish I knew more people that like cosplaying/costuming so we could have a whole Batman troupe.

and ahhh! we're doing a group! I pulled together a great big Batman group for Halloween last year, but unfortunately we didn't get a picture of everybody. [link] here's about half of us (I'm the flabbergasted-looking tiny Scarecrow in front. I couldn't see nor crouch in that costume so 99% of the pictures were horrific). We're missing our classic Joker, our Nightwing, both of our Red Hoods and our Mr. Freeze in that photo, but they were pretty boss.

Your Scarecrow costume is really freaky! (in the best way!) The group shot is kinda adorable!

Yeah! There was a disappointing (mostly) lack of other costumers but we had fun anyway!

I thought the movie was a good ending to the trilogy. Anne Hathaway really surprised me with her performance of Selina. (Spoiler alert for anyone reading) "Robin" should have just been named Dick Grayson.. but I guess Nolan didn't want any details like that leaked. I really liked that Nolan combined a lot of the comic book story arcs like Knightfall and No Man's Land - my inner nerd was pleased!

That sucks. We also had a very small number of people in costume, but they were really good. There was a Bane there who must have spent countless hours on his costume, he was flawless.

I pretty much agree with you on all points. The Dark Knight was still more of a powerhouse of a film, but this one did a great job of wrapping up the trilogy, and bringing some much-needed unity to the whole series. There was a lot of aesthetic disparity between the first two that barely made them feel like a whole and I feel like that was fixed with TDKR. Hathaway surprised me, too; I've never liked a movie Catwoman until now. Knightfall is one of my favorite books and when (spoilers!!) Bane broke Bruce just like he did in the comics, everyone in the theater cheered, it was magnificent.

We discussed the Dick Grayson thing, and decided that he probably didn't want to pick a specific Robin, but just have a ~Robin~ in general, and that he wanted it to be a surprise. It was a confusing choice, but I was OK with it, I suppose.

Over all, I was pleased though. ouo Bane was fuckin' fantastic, which I'd really worried about until I actually saw it.

Lol one guy in the theater wore Bane's mask. That's it. No jacket or anything, just his mask xD

Yeah I understand that for the purpose of the trilogy, it would've been more trouble than it's worth to introduce an "actual" Robin versus just a nod to the character, but it would've been so cool! (and give Dick/Nightwing more mainstream recognition, poor baby haha)

I need to see it again alsjfalksjdf can't wait until it comes out on DVD.. then it'll be TRILOGY MARATHON TIME!
