Really loving your art, especially the Star Trek pieces!
Have you thought about rendering DJCurtis's Century-class? Β I'm just wondering as I have a Century-class vessel (images being done by Jetfreak), and I would love to see her done by you!

I'd certainly give it a go, I just don't have a Century Model.Β

I could ask Jetfreak to send you his mesh. Β Plus Admiral-Horton has done some ortho's of the Century-class, including one of my ship.
Would these be of any use?

Jetfreak has sent me his mesh for the Century-class. Β It is a RAR file, and I have downloaded it.
Send me your email and I should be able to send it to you!

No problem, love the TMP interior stuff. Had a go myself at some interior stuff not so long back and the amount of variables to get it looking right is mind boggling. Massive respect for the effort on your interiors, the results really speak for themselves.Β

Thanks! I actually seem to have better results when building interiors lately. Going to try to get better at building other designs before I try to build up my own I think. Still a lot of fun.Β

Hey dude, long time no speak.
Was wondering if offhand you could recall the RGB values for the league cruiser in your one render, name for the green, yellow and white used to color it.

Hey I gotta ask if you're still around, what references did you use when re-creating the Colony Wars ships?

Screen caps from the game including the CGI videos and the in-game models.Β

I'm trying to find ref material to recreate some League ships from their in game models in Space Engineers, but I can't find any good refs, all the screen shots are either from the cockpit view or so low rez and blurry I can't make out anything.

I used a PS1 emulator and unfortunately all those images I had were lost when I got a new computer.Β

Hate to ask this, as I know the very mention of "ripping" turns people against you, but is there any of the actual models taken straight from the game floating around?

Unfortunately I did quite a long search for them and came up nothing. I even tried using a 3D rippper on the PSX emulator and the information I got was what I expected. The way the old PS1 used to raster images pretty much makes any '3D' information useless 'cause it's in 2D. I wouldn't even be surprised if the the original code and models have been lost years ago, which is sad because a remaster would be amazing. Β

Now that is sad, unsurprising in retrospect, but still sad. I suppose if someone was going to get the models they would have by now, right? Still I do love that game, I never played any of it's sequels, never will, they loose out to much on the feel of being "just another nameless pilot", and being a small cog in much larger war. That and the music is still amazing, even by modern gaming standards. Do you have a favorite ship by the way? The S-4 Dark Angel will always be my baby, I love that thing... <3
