I am very interested in both art and science (I have an MSc in Zoo Conservation Biology and two BSc(s): Zoology and Environmental Geoscience).
I am self taught with traditional artistic methods, and I am an amateur photographer. I have a passion for animals, especially cats (large and small).
I am very interested in plants, and I have a collection of orchids which I love to care for.

Well Felix and Jasper were tabby brothers who we first got when my hubby and I got married and moved into our married couple house. But they have both gone off to the hunting ground in the sky now. I keep Felix's spirit alive with my avatar. Then came Ziggy, Maine Coon rescue cat, who I did a proper portrait of, but he passed last year, earlier than he should have for his age. And that was tough! Now we have a little grey girl cat with white markings called Sasha who is spoiled rotten! What about you and cats?
