bro you were slim. The last time I saw you before that, you had a much more..hm..'imposing' physical presence. Your silhouette as a whole was notably more grand.

Awww yee now that we are bros what are your top video games? What MMOs do you play?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tozetre In reply to TheDerpQueen [2012-10-26 22:06:35 +0000 UTC]

Well, I started playing RO when the international server went beta, so there's that. I dabbled in DDO, STO, CoH, still have my iRO account, and throw money at Humble Bundle quite a lot because I've gotten addicted to clever indie games. I used to play WoW but got bored after a year or two. Favourite game ever is probably Psychonauts, fav genre is RPGs, and I like strat stuff too.

Sadly, the past year I've mostly played "oh god I need to finish this thesis by April if I want to graduate "

Yours? Besides RO, obviously.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheDerpQueen In reply to Tozetre [2012-11-01 14:57:51 +0000 UTC]

I've heard of Psychonauts but I've never actually played it I'll go look into it more.
Mine are Mass effect, Persona3, Persona 3 FES, Nocturne, most Atlus games, Majoras Mask,OOT, I use to play WoW but I am a wrath-baby so I didn't get to get the full experience out of it, I say the top 2 mmos I've played this year are GW2 and Tera online. I haven't had much time for gaming because of college too. I am in the wrong college for what I want to be into, (I want to do special effects make up) 15% of one of the 3 classes is actual applying make up the rest is learning retail stuff, which is knowledge I do not need.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tozetre In reply to TheDerpQueen [2012-11-01 17:40:48 +0000 UTC]

Psychonauts was one of Tim Schafer's better games; Yahtzee has a great review of it if you check the Escapist.

Oh man yes Mass Effect. I'm waiting to play 3 'cause of time, but I'm going to replay 1 and 2 before I do. So good. I never really got into the Persona games despite their interesting design; Atlus games and I never really clicked well. Enix was always my one true love for publishers.

Do you have a target school you want to transfer to? Or is stage/prop makeup sort of a trade you work your way into with experience?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheDerpQueen In reply to Tozetre [2012-11-01 20:00:42 +0000 UTC]

Currently not to sure what field I want to go into going to figure that in time. But I have a good eye a creative mind and hard working so I do not need to worry much.
I go for games usually for plot unless its an MMO, you should really try playing Nocturne its pretty cool.

Tozetre In reply to TheDerpQueen [2012-11-02 14:00:21 +0000 UTC]

Hard work and talent do contribute more to success than anything else, I find. Good luck!

I shall look for Nocturne, thanks for the tip!

Tozetre In reply to TheDerpQueen [2012-11-14 21:55:56 +0000 UTC]

thank you based DerpQueen

Speaking of /fit/, I just switched both my cardio and weight routines. Starting Strength to Starting Aesthetics ('cause chest/back/ab muscle imbalance was starting to cause issues) and a vanilla 3.5km run to C25K. Only since I'm starting at week 1 and I can already run okay, to hell with the "slow run," I'm sprinting intervals. I want to die, but I expect to be ripped and swole by spring.

but srsly, interval sprints up a hill suck more than running out of creatine.

What's your routines like these days? 3X5 studying too much in a lightless student lab?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheDerpQueen In reply to Tozetre [2012-11-14 22:24:28 +0000 UTC]

My routine in the summer was something very similar I did interval running up a hill wouldn't count how many miles I would go but I end up running for 2 hours a day, I wasn't lifting as heavy back then though. I was lifting heavier in the Spring
I cant currently run because I have been having problems with my lungs and health so I am only lifting. I do floor work though too onto top of my lifting so I can improve my form. I use to have knock knees but I don't anymore. I plan on bulking until Feb then doing a nice cut. Doing 5x10 working on legs, arms, chest, and back. My squats are looking pretty nice lately and Im up to 80LB so almost back to what I had in the spring

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tozetre In reply to TheDerpQueen [2012-11-14 23:01:22 +0000 UTC]

Niiice! Sorry to hear about the lungs; I have asthma so I know what it's like. I still can't run for more than about half an hour though; hauling my fat ass around the landscape is just not on.

Well done on the lifting recovery, keep at it. How heavy are you bulking? I've got about 5 months of cutting left until I hit my goal weight. Winter's gonna be tough. :T

Ah yes, December. Well known as the month of easy weightlosNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

But yeah, all the /fit/izens I know in Alberta were complaining that November was a shit month. Seems like we all switched to beastmode, ate terrible food, gained 10 pounds of fat, and are crawling back on the wagon now.

Moving to Calgary, looks like; new gym is totally sweet. 2 or 3 of my weeaboo friends are already begging me to bring them to the gym and transform them. Heheheheheheh, the pains I shall visit upon them. >:3

I'd like to get some figs, but I haven't got room for 'em. :T Scored half the Monsiuer Bome stuff that came out a while back, can't into making my own. You mod your figs at all, or use 'em as costume reference, or just line shelves and increase your power level?

I bought fear 2 and sims 3 and late night on steam so far last month o: Plus a bunch of games from black friday. Figures are to increase my power level, I try to stay away from doing modifications.

Amusingly, my real life has turned out a lot like a Sims game I played... 8 years ago? Started in a hovel earning peanuts, ended up making mad cash as a computer guy and being super popular.

Still waiting for the clown/ghost in the pool, though. <_<

At least you are not reading books then placing them on the ground then walking away.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tozetre In reply to TheDerpQueen [2012-12-05 22:29:45 +0000 UTC]

That's... mostly true?

I would be more assertive about this if my apartments had not consistently been littered with books. It's because I'm in the process of reading the books, though, not 'cause I'm all "bored now time to poop."

But I don't place them on the *ground*, and that's what matters, right?
