haha, thanks so much man. The grass is always greener on the other side, so don't let my stuff fool you. I saw your gallery a few days ago and thought, fuck! this style is awesome, what you do is something I can't do, I always have to turn to stupid puns and very simple line drawings ( admitted I like those myself, but still, it sometimes feels like an easy way out ). Keep going where you are going, keep making awesome things. I personally have no idea where I am heading and I feel like I'm still practicing. I think every artist should always want to try to be better and it can be menacing to see a gallery full of fun works. that gallery is always the result of hard work over time. it's something that has been built. If I can be part of an energy that makes you create better and more pieces that would be a tremendous honor. go for it, captain ! Impress me

Heh. Same here. I sure as hell can't do what guys like you and Teagle do. I've tried and failed. Ain't nothing wrong with puns and simple line drawings. You're obviously good at what you do. I know how ya feel. I've no idea where my work is heading either. Only time can tell. Just tryin' to have fun making "art." You keep pumping out work and maybe we can be friendly artistic rivals. haha, deal ! the key is to have fun, I live from positive energy, the power to create, the hunger for new creations, to impress. to me it's basically not even a choice. I get pulled towards creating fun stuff, I wouldn't know what else to do. It's this urge to create. If there comes a day that I'll stop drawing, I think I'll go nuts. My best friend is the opposite of me. He creates on a power of hate, and that works for him. Like Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood: " I have a competition in me. I want no one else to succeed ". to me that is unproductive and exhausts me, but like I said, it's personal.

Yeah, he's virtually unknown here, i came across a few of his comics online, and they were indeed in Dutch. But I liked them so much visually, so i used Google Translate and typed out all the word bubbles in order to read hahaha.

As for festivals, i've only been accepted to 3 so far in UK, Netherlands and Brooklyn. I have to re-check where I've applied to cause it's been alot, but theres no guarantee on getting in either.

I don't think anyone ships them out of Belgium ( because they are in Dutch ). But if you like I can send you some ? I think all of his books are great.
His first book is drawn kinda shabby, you can see he's still learning, but that's interesting too

I don't think he'll have translations out. He is superpopular here, but that is mainly because he jokes around with Belgian culture. People in other countries would not get the references, so I don't think they will ever translate his stuff unfortunately.
