You can reach me at crocutamon@gmail.com

I was surprised too! It's such a thrill realising someone else is from au, mainly because there is the chance I might actually get to see their art!
Such an amazing gallery, thanks for putting it all up on DA for everyone to see! I'm in awe.

misterclutterfutt In reply to secretplanet [2011-02-08 13:57:47 +0000 UTC]
Alls well here Ria. Not affected by the firestorms or cyclone in Perth. Not affected by the floods in townsville (although I got terrible sunburn there). Not affected by the cyclone in Cairns (was here in Sydney). Had a record heatwave in Sydney but now its cool and fresh again.
I feel like Ive been unconsciously running away from drama. Which ...ironically.....
Hope Tazmadniss is ok. No pestilence? plagues? Volcanoes? Tornadoes? Famine? Disease? Tourists?

I like this.
Seat of My Pants is familiar. I think our JJJfm played it.
Ill have a closer look at him now. I can tell he's a slow burn.
Im bound to like it more as I go. Cheers
I can't remember what songs Ive sent links to.
Did I send Fink, or Joanna Newsome.
I often watch Later with Jooles Holland, and I saw Jeff Beck playing
Over the rainbow. I may have just been in the mood at the time
but I found it unusually beautiful.

Glad you seem to like it(sort of) ..I have a little thing for creosote, which goes some way to explaining my liking for this guy and also a few other things no doubt.
Yes ,you sent me Joanna Newsome links ..or I looked her up ( oddly compulsive listening..such a strange voice but quite compelling.) ..still to investigate Fink though.
my my! to Jeff Beck playing Somewhere over the Rainbow......I was steeling myself for something pretty vile to be honest...but that was a treat. My big bro had/has a white Fender..they have a special place in my heart.

yes, Jeff Becks not normally the sort of thing Id be directing anyones attention to.
He does have his moments though. Usually spoiled by alot of wankery.
But I saw that after a couple of wines and it really got me.
My sis just put up a link to Tom Waits Goin out West and Ive been enjoying seeing it again.
I love Tom Waits. Id like to play that sort of thing live on Fridays and then do Nick Drake on Sundays.
So many hats, so little time.
btw, how was your January/February?
No swat teams kicking your windows in for sandwich fraud?

Just had a look at Goin out West again..hehe..pretty damn good.Kind of reminds me a bit of my brush with Psychobilly in the past.
To do the Tom Waits kind of thing you need that gravelly voice Greg...start smoking(if you don't already do so ..) and gargling with bog cleaner....ah! but then ,see you wouldn't be able to do the Nick Drake would you? I love his voice.
You got your buth dwivas hat too ..so many hats indeed.
Safe to say that Jan and Feb have probably been the shitest on record (so far)...nothing to do with SWAT teams..thats run of the mill. I will tell you about it some other time ..perhaps.

Ill respect your side stepping and raise you some Camembert.
I don't have poker chips, but Camembert .... Oh yes. Yes we have that.
And you'd better believe me. Oh Don't give me that doubting look you.
If I say I have Camembert then I have Camembert.!!
Oh so you think you know me huh.
I tell you I have Camembert and you STAND THERE AND TELL ME I DON'T !
YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME!! ?? YOU WANNA STEP OUTSIDE !!??
JEEEEEEEEEESUS FUCKING CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIST!!!
Hmm.. I see your point. Tom or Nick ,but not Tom AND Nick.
Actually... not all together true. These are the two voices.
Nick is my usual voice. Tom is from a different part of the larynx.
But see, my Nick voice is boring as buttons. Its pedestrian.
It reminds me of some actors who never quite make the grade
because their voice is too "inoffensive". Too measured and neat.
People compliment me saying "you have a lovely speaking voice,
you should do radio".
But thats how I sound singing too. Ingenuine. Plastic.
When I do the Tom, I feel like an aging black man rocking from
side to side on a park bench, grinning and possibly blind.
But I can't imagine how that voice looks coming from such a
straight looking white guy. If I had a cardigan Id look like either
a pedophile or a history teacher. Teaching the history of pedophilia.
Or pedophying the history of teaching.
I wish I had some Camembert.

If cheese were a person,or persons, then Camembert would be the choice of the cheeses ...The Cheeses Cheese...a nice smelly runny one mind.
And from your last statement it would appear that indeed you have no Camembert..it was all a big fib from a big fibber! You were picking a Cheese fight in the full knowledge that you were cheeseless....naked in the cheese department.Pah!I bite my thumb at you Mr Greg!
Do you eat lots of cheese before retiring? Must help with that impressive dream world of yours.Really liked that storyline there for the piece Equilibrium...or realityline more like.
I am awaiting the return of my dreamworld..it used to be pretty full on ..but now I only remember snatches of it and as I try and remember more ...its through my fingers and gone. The last time I woke up with a cracker of an idea ...for a slug trap ..don't snigger! ..it was brilliant ...got up in the middle of the night drew it out and wrote it up ...woke up in the morning and was confronted with a whole load of shite! Somebody must have nicked it when I was asleep and left a whole lot of crap in its place.bummer!

Thats a shame about the dream bookings being on vacation.
Not following your bliss obviously.
And that usually means theres a distraction plug or plugs.
Would you like to borrow my bliss horn?
Its shaped like a shoe horn, only more ethereal.
Im intrigued by the Slug-O-Matic.
Did it have springs? Was it shaped like a Bantam Chicken?
Have you told Oprah?
Yes its true , I have no Camembert. I have Gouda.
I know I know. Please accept my cheese lies. Its embarrassing.
I even dusted my Gouda with sifted flour and left it on the bench to get runny
but it never even tried to be Camembert.
Gouda is just Camembert minus its bliss.
I dont need cheese to make my dreams vivid and overactive.
Im known for being loud conversational during the night.
Sue and Mark who I lived downstairs from 4 yrs ago finally
insisted they meet my girlfriend. Apparently theyd decided she must
either be wholly unattractive or someone elses missus.
But alas I was only talking, laughing, arguing and babbling to myself.
Sue said one night I had such a long and involved explanation about religion
it sounded like the antithesis of a TV evangelist.
No Camembert was harmed in this post.
Is your thumb ok now?
