Hello! Hahah I’m surprised someone’s asked >.> I haven’t been around for several months. Thanks for that. I am doing as well as I can manage for the time being.
I have been paying more attention to trying to build healthier living habits than anything else, which is proving to be rather challenging but I am improving in some areas.
Art wise, things are coming along slowly. Because I had neglected my health so much while I was in my worst moments, I’ve done some damage and it’s been affecting my ability to work on art. I can only manage an hour or so - three at most -a day but I’ve been drawing everyday even if I’m not showing people much. I’m aiming to return at the end of this month to post a few works granted I finish some but if not, July will be a month for new work sharing.
I’ve actually been incredibly inspired and have soooooo many ideas - both fanart and original ideas - that I need to create. There are certain matters I’ve been meaning to explore and put out there for people to see... just trying to work up the guts. It’s still hard for me to just openly express... and not feel bad about it. Or to just talk freely. So some of ideas I have terrify me to share but I feel I should just do it. Hopefully in doing so, I won’t hurt as much.
But I’m doing alright enough. Change is scary and difficult, but I know it isn’t impossible. Looks back at my online life, my personal life, just functioning like a normal person, living, existing... has always bee n very hard to do and I’ve never really done it well. I’ve often fallen victim to saying but never doing and I want to change that. Words alone are meaningless unless coupled with action. I guess that’s something I picked up from my family too... making promises only to break them. I don’t want to waste people’s time or my own anymore but it’s all a slow process. But I am determined to become a better me. I want to be.

Ahh, well, good to hear you're still holding up alright! Yeah, life is definitely a challenge, but it always surprises me what kinds of hell people can survive and even rise above. I actually deliberately seek out those from troubled backgrounds who rise to greatness. And it looks like you might be on your way to join them. Oh yeah, try not to strain yourself too hard, kay? If you're not ready for art, well people can wait, gosh darn it! I mean, what's it gonna cost them? Five seconds of mild disappointed, and then they're back to getting stoned or whatever. Don't worry about what people think of you if you can help it, the nice thing about being one face among millions is that your mistakes actually dont affect much. So where was I going with this again... I got my brother's jazz music playing too loud in my ear so I can't concentrate...

Oh yeah, you're a good person Sani, I believe in you. You're gonna do a little self improvement, and you'll keep fighting that gloom, and you're gonna be a beautiful person.

me? I'm doing alright. same as always. ups and downs. most that I know I can take charge of and change proactively, but actually successfully changing yourself isn't the easiest thing to do, nor can it be done overnight. it will take time. But I am still actively wanting to become a stronger, better, more positive person.

Honeslty, DA is fine for contact, (also any social media platforms like Twitter, instagram, tumblr,etc!) Speaking of social media platforms, that's pretty much what I've been doing. Lol expanding my platform to instagram, and twitter lol. Also creating a more leniant portfolio for me so that way I have variety in my work (wrote all about it in my journal)

Really just trying my best to fix my gallery to a place I would want to visit lol. It's weird it's like I'm sort of ok, but also just trying my best, you know?

as for trying your best, I suppose that is all we all do. no one has everything figured out and we all have our bad times. but this is also good, since we all have something in common and are that much more able, to lend a helping hand

I'm going to work on getting some flow in art, both with originality and fan art,(honestly I'm just super excited to draw OC's man, I just love it) now tat I've got a clear head on what to do! What about you with art? You planning anything? (Also low-key super happy you still do sonic art, I love sonic to death so it's nice to see some foin art with him and the gang!) I am personally thinking of heading into more original work myself... there are certain things about myself I want to come to understand through my art, things I feel that making art about will help me grow and move forward with myself. And just thing that have been running around in my head these past few years I really need to get out.

AND YES SONIC ART I WILL NEVER STOP EVER I love Sonic too much, these guys mean too much to me to just stop.

and Transformers >.> I seem to have fallen in love with Soundwave over the years I am trapped oh noes and I just think they're cool mannnn I need to draw proper art of some of my favorite moments and characters OvO

step away from the computer when drawing them because I have
