Creativity is about doing something. It means to be open to inspiration, to be perceptive, to be willing to conceive and to express something.
In case of doubt I remind me of a quote from the movie "Ratatouille": "The task of a critic is an easy one. But deep inside we have to admit that everyone who creates something, even if it is mediocre, does more than we do."
Since I write by myself, I have mentally excused myself to a lot of authors whose work I critizised. It is different if you have do to the work by yourself.
