Yeah, my old Neopets account was one of apparently thousands of victims of the server transfer glitch when Neopets changed ownership. After a while I gave up and started a new account. The Guild was dead by the time I got back. I haven't yet found a new guild to join - I'm just leveling up my widdle Aisha as fast as I can.

Otherwise, what can I say? I have two more kids since the last time you were around. We hatched one, Meghan, who is three, and adopted one, Maellyn, a deaf Navajo girl who adopted us first. Mickey is now in her second year of High School - don't feel THAT old, she's still only 11! And I'm co-owner of a game development company. So where have you been hiding?

My neo account is brilliantgrey if you want to add me!  I also fell victim to the server change glitch but I finally got their attention by harassing them on Twitter and they responded to my ticket (after a year and a half, yikes.)

Two more kids?!  You must be insanely busy nowadays.  (I'm glad you clarified about Mickey because I was about to feel ancient.)  What kinds of games do you work on?

I've been in school. I'm almost done with my bachelor's degree, and I'm interning at a theatre festival over the summer.  I'll be applying for grad schools in the fall!

Hey! I literally just now got my old Neopets account back! I swear I spent the first half hour just feeding my pets, and they ate a large part of my SDB. I had no idea there was a condition known as 'dying'. Fortunately everything still seems to be there except the items in my inventory, which was empty. Even the 57 million NP in the bank was there!

Anyway, I've been a co-owner of a company based in Canada for some time now. I spent the last year outsourced to Activision preparing the background for the Crash Bandicoot reboot and assisting other projects. We're now opening a design studio here - they start work on the construction this Monday - and I will be turning our specialty here to the consulting work I used to do privately, solving problems and other special projects for other developers, and preparing complex animations for our use and for others.

Obviously a busy time here. I also have a round of Tribal matters, with the Midsummer Ceremonies this weekend on the Reservation and the Pollen Festival next week. Then I have to take Mickey for her first Vi'svah’ah Adanedi, a Cherokee shaman's quest involving a week alone in the woods.

That's amazing! I didn't realize there was a Crash Bandicoot remake in the works.  (You always seem to have such a variety of things in the pipeline.  A reminder to us all to vary our portfolios!!)
This is a late reply so you've probably already taken Mickey on her Vi'svah’ah Adanedi, but I hope all was well.  It sounds important, but I'm sure she handled it!


I'm glad you got back into your account also! Any thoughts on the new staff?

Still trying to get caught up. The short answer is that I haven't accepted a request or trade in years from always being too busy. I don't do deliberate art - the things in my gallery are usually just things I've done to keep my hands busy while in conference calls. But tell me what you have in mind and I'll think about it. Use a note if its a long explanation.

They sell flight passes on this plane when it tours, almost 500US each, but a local group got together and reserved a group of passes in advance for a serious discount. There were a number of WWII veterans locally who were supposed to get the passes, but only one was in good enough shape to actually fly. They gave us five passes as a surprise for all the volunteer work we do. My favorite part was assisting in the start-up.

I pushed my luck and it pushed back. We adopted a 10 year old Navajo girl, got cataract surgery for a fox, I got volunteered to teach martial arts twice a week to Native American kids and I got to fly in a B-17.
