Have always enjoyed art- pretty much in most forms- Am always impressed by the clever and creative bent that folks can generate- It can certainly grip you like a drug.
The older I get, the more I enjoy the history of art and the new growth and ideas springing up all around us!
To match the name, I actually do have a 1930 REO SPEEDWAGON FIRE ENGINE and work in the town that Frank Zappa grew up in...

Almost done with your art piece; just have to scan it. The current issue though is making our scanner compatible with my computer. I might simply upload the piece as a photo of the drawing as opposed to a scan of it...but if that bugs you, then let me know and I'll wait until our scanner works. My husband is not preoccupied with homework projects now, so he is able to help me with finishing my overdue art trades/requests. :) (Smile) Some of these I have already drawn, but they will be scanned and uploaded to his account at TheGamingBlacksmith .

Hi...Checked with a friend of mine who grew up in Japan... He said it literally means ''talk, talk or speak, speak'' and was/ is a way to answer the phone... Still like sayin' it...

You're right on the spelling...Guess I was using Ben Franklin's mode of spelling...

It never caught on but his idea was to spell words as they sounded... it eliminated many of the rules, helped with learning to read and made his print shop work quite a bit easier...

so it could have made english easier to learn....because that is one thing I learned about Japanese english-learners--they hate our spelling rules
