Your technique on this page is outstanding. The reader can clearly see the heat emitting from the African soil. The background is faded which only enhances the appearance of your characters and their struggle. Their pelt colors are masterfully shaded.Your characters' eyes reflect emotion which is hard to accomplish. I commend you on that.
The angles are excellent, the expressions alive. Africa has an expression of exhaustion yet you can clearly see her patience and love for her young.
Furthermore the anatomy of this page is brilliant.No flaws there.
No artwork is perfect, but if the pros outweigh the cons at this magnitude. I think we can definitely overlook it.
Over all its an original and handsome piece of artwork!

It is very well done, it is well done and it shows that it was just as you imagined it.
I am not an expert in art but I congratulate you, you are at the level of marvel, dc comics and many others, even surpasses them. I really regret never voicing my thoughts enough on your work, even though I've been following it all this time!
No idea how you do it, how you use colored pencil in such a way to capture both realism and that beautiful styled look.
It's the incredible attention to detail. The heat off the ground, the backgrounds all captured just right. But also the angled
lines and sharp emphasis on the characters. And your use of color... oh it's so beautiful how you use the blues and yellows together.

I like the idea you introduced with more vibrant colors and slight smuge/blur to indicate the heat,but personally I would limit it a bit. Really good page!

Poor Africa, between heat and claims, it proves to be an exemplary mother. I think my patience would last a little and then start screaming. I would definitely not survive.
I love the exaggeration of Binti with that of "months" while Mosi refutes, saying that they were "days"
I hope Africa finds that lake soon.
The puppies in the last panel are the cherry on this page. Children get depressed or excited so quickly! Haha, youth! <3
