Description Rhamphosuchus crassidens was an extinct gharial from the Miocene and Pliocene of India. From its fragmentary remains, it is believed that it was twice as long as the modern day gharial, Gavialis gangeticus, making R. crassidens a 12 meter long horror that resembled a thin-snouted Sarcosuchus imperator.
A Ganges river dolphin, Platanista gangetica gangetic, has been placed with R. crassidens for size comparison.

Was Al Gore on that movie? I know he promoted it. (Twas a good movie IMO, much better than the Core as far as natural disaster movies go)
