Hnn. There's just so much emotion here. Salvation is right - Emily is -everything- to Corvo, the only thing that keeps him sane. Hope, or forgiveness, or anything like meaning to the world - Emily's all he has left. I love it!

I always wonder if you mean getting her back at the end of the game or in the golden cat mission, because I think is sort of the two, I mean you get her back after what more less 6-7 months? and then after been betrayed, but I'm not sure...

When I painted this, I had the first reunion in mind, I don't know why. Maybe because I feel like Corvo was more innocent then, and maybe because the first time he couldn't even be sure if she really was behind that door, if she was even alive at all.

I guess you are right, I had also thought that the first time is more sweet even in low chaos, or at least for me, though now thinking it, I think it was sweeter for Corvo, I don't know why, maybe because she was the only good thing he had or was hoping to get her back...
