Graphite drawing of the actress.Mostly: 5B, 7B, HB and H.
Smooth, white sketch paper
This took forever! I find it much harder to draw girls than boys. This will probably be the last celebrity I draw for a while. I have this idea for a graphic novel that I want to illustrate in my style and I have to start sometime.

Thank you! ...but believe me, you will. I love staring at other people's art (it's why I have 1000s of pieces collected in my favourites). The one thing I've learned is that every day I will find something new to take my breath away.

I wonder how you designed the white lines on the hair and lips.did you do it with the special eraser or pencil or something? it's really awesomeΒ

Back when I drew this I used poster putty... you know, that sticky clay stuff that you use to stick posters on walls. Just make a fine point and dab it repeatedly on the spot you want to erase. Works pretty good. Now I have an electric eraser from Derwent. It has small erasers in a spinning tip that is really exceptional at erasing lines. Also good for dots.

Here is a link with the materials I normally use and the specific shades of graphite are listed in the description. I generally use Faber Castell pencils but the brand really doesn't matter. Good luck.

You know, back then I had massive amounts of free time. I drew it over 4 days but I literally drew all day... I had nothing better to do and was enjoying drawing. I easily drew anywhere from 12 to 16hours a day. If I had to do the same drawing now it would take me 2 weeks.
