I decided to try something different. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet. I tend to kill things with detail and saturated colors so this is a little out of my comfort zone.
Drawn with:
Watercolor pencils (I don't paint with them - I use a technique called burnishing)
On A4 cartridge paper.
The reference shot was graciously supplied by *FuzzyYak
For some reason dA posted the deviation twice and I had to delete one...my apologies to the people who faved it!
