I wanted to take aspects of the original photo that stood out to me and transport them to a different place and time - with only minimal changes done to the original context - a translation from a modern feel to a classic (Mediterranean(ish) to me) feel.

Taking elements that stand out to me (although they may not to others) and translating them to another visual "language" is often my goal with digital mixed media based on photos (and also photo manipulations). I guess the popularity (I hate that word) of any work I do depends on how many people understand that "language".

Prints are high resolution and are not watermarked.
