The orbital military docking station is capable of docking up to two capitol ships, and a dreadnought with no difficulty. The main docking ports are triple sealed and able to extend and adjust their size up to 35% to fit many ship classes. Each heavy docking port also has 4 umbilical connectors for power and oxygen transfers. Each heavy dock also had 6 dedicated energy tethers (only 2 are required for most vessels but 6 are almost always used). It has 6 power cores to support advanced life support, entertainment suites, 35 000 crew quarters (2000 crew to run the station), advanced shield projectors, tethers, and tractors. The station is the main orbital base for many worlds. Each station is responsible for many orbital cargo pods which hold weapons, upgrades, fuel, and spare parts to continue regular maintenance of all vessels. They are not able to perform major repairs on large ships, for that a dry dock is required. They are able to perform maintenance, minor repair, and upgrades, as well as cargo and crew transfers and major medical evacuations. Each station has 5 full combat fighter wings, 3 bomber wings and several combat shuttles, as well as repair pods, cargo vessels, transports, tow ships, and fuel haulers. A fighter wing is always on patrol.
