again from the course.. this one now has the most beautiful frmaing, a dark purple burgundy and silver double mat with silver frame. will try and take another pic when I get it back from the exhibition in a few weeks*****************
I have just been informed that what this work was based on was in fact a work by the artist Sue Dawe [link]
i didnt know that was an artwork, i was at a pastel course and it was in a big folder they had for us copy from. im terribly sorry to the artist I had no idea, i thought they were just bases we could make our own works from. i would never plaigerise and as you can see all my other copied works are linked to the originals and credited.
oh and I havent sold any prints of it if that helps
so yeah again im terribly sorry I had no idea, I shall go and fix this now.

Copying other artist's work can be a good way to learn, it has always been practiced throughout art history. However when you claim that work as your own, not giving any credit to the original artist, and even make a PROFIT by selling prints of it, it becomes plagiarism.
I think you should at least give credit to Sue Dawe, the original artist, and remove the print option. It's not right.

Its no like its a straight copy from the original..
oh and I haven sold any prints of it if that helps
