Hello, I'm from ProjectComment .
That’s a very nicely drawn illustration there. I really like the use of lines in this one, not only on the character alone, but the background as well. I like how the purples and blues are used more where it’s supposed to be water, while the rest are orange and res on dry land. The lantern there suggests lighting, and this has a very nice color to it. I especially like how the fish has a slight shimmer to it, there’s enough white poking through that helps add that it’s slippery- and the detail on the wings are great alone. Miniscule they are, they’re overall good.
The feline looking character looks interesting though. They’re holding a bow with the bird. While the bird looks static, it’s very hard to capture motion, but a useful tip would be to portray the wings when they’re in motion, or are flapping to one position or back. The cat character looks a bit stiff though, but that could be due to them relaxing on the rock there.
One big advice I would suggest would be to lay the picture in a good light source (maybe have flash lights around) and ensure that the picture is well lit and then take a snap. While it doesn’t have to be high quality, I think cropping it and adjusting it in Photoshop (or a free art program) would help us see the details and the shading you put into a lot easier for us to see. And it’ll look a bit more professional than holding it out with your hand. Maybe even capture part of the table, and have your drawing tools places around it like some people on DA do.
Overall you’ve done a great job on this. I rather like the shading used here. The roses are not just one solid color here; they’re rather a variety of shades like you’d see in a rose garden. The petals falling from the tree look nice, and although it doesn’t seem like it, I take it they’re above the feline, falling on top of him. This must make this a rather big cat, or a small rose bush- some shading here for shadows would also help (like using some purples or blues). The watery effect looks amazing if that’s supposed to be water, and I like the texture you gave the feline creature for the fur. It’s almost like the fur on a real cat.
Keep up the amazing work.

The design for the cat is brilliant. I could complain about the drawing being drab but that's probably because of the photo quality.
