i love hydrangea for their changing colours (depending on the soil as far as i know) like you show it here, and this is a very fine close up... 
long years ago i gave my mother a completely white hydrangea for christmas - it has grown to a big bush by now and has developed little blue and pinkish parts in the white...

I love the delicate blue lines, they're like the veins of the flowers. And the white dots really make it look magical! Really beautiful.

This reminds me of my childhood. I would go to my grandmother's house and play in her garden, which had blue, pink, white, and green hydrangea plants. I always pretended that they were fairies nests. She's been dead for 8 years now, and so I love that this brought a bit of nostalgia. Beautiful picture!
