I saw you at Bristol RenFaire last year and had taken a couple of photos and just only now was finally directed to your page by happenstance from another person I came across! hahaha! This is an AMAZING creation! I had wanted to hug you at faire because it just looked so gorgeous but never got up the courage to even ask! haha

I've never been to any convention so this will be my first time. But indeed there is always next year! Perhaps we can try to coordinate to meet up next year at Bristol sometime. Or at least if I do see you I might be able to say "hey btw it's PoldalleLovesnare from DeviantArt" lol!

OMG I love these pictures! XD and yes, I'm only 5'2" out of costume and the feet give me four inches of platform height when I'm standing up straight! And yes, I long for the cooler days, though after wearing both, I have to say I way more comfortable in that costume then in the normal ren faire garb. It breaths WAYYYYY better!

haha I'm 5'4"/5'5" so not too much taller myself so no worries lol! I was wearing my desert femme fatal's costume for the first time that year and was like "oh go figure! it has to be kinda nippy when I decide to go out in BELLYDANCE GEAR!" lol Crazy weather...always trying to thwart things! it's funny, too, how certain costumes breathe better than others...sometimes you wouldn't expect the ones that are more comfy to BE the more comfy ones! But I'm sure you build the fursuits in a way that they are ventilated and whatnot. It's the fact you get the mouth to move that thoroughly amazes me to no end lol!

XD Oracles moving mouth is very simple, its entirely separate from the rest of the head and strapped to my jaw by elastic!

Ahhh! so when you move your jaw it just moves with it, like a prosthetic would?

Lots of research, time, money, and artistic skill. The process is very complicated, it can't be described properly in a short comment like this, and is a waste of most fursuit artists time to answer such questions. Can you imagine how many people ask that same question?
There are many tutorials online. Go hunting on Google, DA, and FA is the best I can tell you.
(For a more simplified answer- with fur, a sewing machine, and other various materials. Time and practice too.)
