At the moment a bit harder, because I'm not used to drawing feathered raptors, but eventually probably just different. It creates a more complicated silhouette to fill in at the colouring stage, but magic wand makes that pretty easy to get around, too.
lol I think probably the hardest thing is not thinking of what I'm drawing as a scaly raptor with some feathers glued on, but as an animal that plumage is a natural part of. Big birbs with teeth and more claws. Technically the JP raptors have wings, too, just very deformed ones that are hard to think of as wings without feathers.

I can imagine! Yes I think I'd struggle with that part too as we've been brought up to see them originally as lizards rather than birds. So I think I'd start by 'sticking' feathers onto a lizard too rather than drawing a toothy bird!
