Description Haha, I found some of my craft paper! I forgot how hard it was to colour evenly on So the colouring is dodgey

I swear the shading is darker, but my scanner ate the dark colours D:

I really hate my horse faces; they are so plain with not much facial structure, I should look at some horse photos and work on that detail.

I just tripped over a dictionary that was sitting in the middle of the hallway. How on earth did it get there? O.o

Wow! Wonderful job, I think the head's a little too small due to the perspective but it's not hugely obvious, although it could be part of the design? Anyways I cannot do perspective at all!

Neat unique design too, I like the little touches, like the long ears and the tail and small spikes on the wings, yay!
Those wings look amazing, such wonderful texture and detail in them! Wonderful piece :3

I couldn't resist adding spikes to the wings. She was looking all soft and delicate, so I thought I would sass her up a bit
The tail was the most fun

The head may be a bit on the small side, but I really think it works for this piece. Love the wings - very nicely done!

My pleasure. I understand about the small head thing - I always want tend to want to draw people with small hands and feet for some reason. I really have to fight to try and get the proportions right on those

Beautiful!
I love the expression, looks like she was curious but didn't have courage to come closer.

White looks gorgeous on this paper and I also love details on wings and tail. Snowflakes are lovely add!

I have noticed that angle thing too in my own drawings! Have to try to vary poses consciously so they wouldn't always look same.

Is craft paper difficult to colour on? Is it like cardboard or paper or does it have almost a material-like feel to it? I've never tried colouring on patterned paper before.

I guess it's kinda like textured carboard. I find it hard to colour on probably because I am still a novice in colouring, but you probably would not find it so hard

pfft you don't seem like a novice to me!! i would probably find it difficult to colour on too - even normal printing paper, which i used to draw on all the time - is frustrating to colour on now lol because it can't take as much pencil as my better quality paper can XD

Yeah I see what you mean. I have a really bad habit of making horse's heads small and stunted in comparasion to the body. I didn't really think about it when I drew this, so I'll have to keep it mind next time. Thanks you for the critque
