The unicorn couldn't help himself but drift closer. He had never seen a horse such as her. Large kind eyes watched him wearily, and her muscled coat gleamed in the firelight.
The hunter's warhorse grieved, for she had never seen such a beautiful creature. It distrubed her to know that she brought his death.

....oh noes, star crossed love!

My half of an art trade with We each choose a song for each other, and had to draw something in inspired by it.

I had trouble with this-- ultimately I decided to go simple.
Fun Fact: I don't believe I have ever drawn two horses together before.
I can't colour white horses, and I got impatient and rushed to finish this. *crawls off to bed*

Aww, beautiful job! I love their poses; composition works very well! I also love the way the horse is looking at unicorn. His brown fur is also colored beautifully. Cool job with background coloring!

this is wonderful!! I have to say that I like the horse in the background more as far as the face and the pose...but the unicorn is still very pretty and I love the effect you managed to create with the watercolors!!
