I am gonna regret writing this. But this made me think about if you and Mary Sue ever wore a horse costume for two. If Sue whould instantly chosse to be the head and leave you...well behind.
Now after that I think this looks cute as fluff. Really full of energy. And uniqe shading. Normally I expect everything to be bright with Mary Sue, but there even the rainbow is in shade. I really want to animate this. Maybe when I get the time with the other dozen things I want to animate.

Eh? Β No, of course not, since she's human in my 'Frozen is Over rated' video, and I have drawn a few sketches of her as a human prior to this one. Β Though is is the first full colour piece of her in human form, its not the first time I've drawn her as a human.

0.0 for the recordΒ (as much as it will weird everyone out) this is a "senpai noticed me" moment for me.
I TAKE ALL THE FAIL THAT COMES WITH THAT STATMENT.
As for the piece, I was introduced to Mad Munchkin with mary's episode about alicorn oc's, so she's a favoriteΒ character of mine. To see her in human form at first was funny and here is no difference, the child-like antics she likes to pull fit perfectly with Maddy and this just plays of that part of her in the best of ways.
I can't find anything wrong with the line work, but i would question why the hair on the unicorn is behind Mary's arm insted of in front. On the toppic of the unicorn ride, i can see how it looks like the fluffy unicorn form Dispicable Me, but personaly i would have wanted a exact copy, or at least as close as possibe, over this version.My only other question is where dose the rainbow end, if it go's down after going behind the unicorn ride, then why can we not see it just behind it near the bottom by the spring.Β
That aside i have always been a fan of the missted look that has been a constent in Mad Munchkin's art work and this is no diffrent. To me it's as if the fogy look gives more depth and movement to the piece, making it feel more alive at times, even though its clearly a cartoon character or a mythical chreater. This movment and feel is not as strong in this piece but its still there none the less.Β
As a Mad Munchkin fan it would be hard to say im complety unbyist. But i can say for sure this is a great piece, not may favorite, but a great piece none the less.
