Ah, what to say about this one? I've been trying to reach a higher level of detail in my paintings. I spent a very long time texturing the rock and working on the braiding detail on her outfit. I wanted to have this done several days ago, but a very bad headache got in the way. It was a pain to finish since I was interrupted so close to the end, but here it is. Love the details in here, I mean I feel as if I can feel the fabric on the spear. The texture of things, and I can't even do grass. Love the sky and the blood spilled from an interesting creature.

Excellent sky Navate, and I love the choice of the blue eyes with the dark skin. You're right about the busty blondes wearing out their welcome; she looks so much more exotic. You're improving with each new piece methinks.

Beautiful Lauren. It's great to see a black woman for a change, i dont see much online- and much less in a fantasy faction. I like the creature on the bottom. The sky is amazing. I just would love it if you saturated it a biiit more, for skintones and the such. But we do have different tastes in this so...lol You love a softer look

Fantasy is so lacking in darker skin. Shame, too--deep skin tones are beautiful. Big-busted blonde white chicks in chainmail bikinis wore out their welcome a long time ago too, but I still see so much of that shit on CGTalk, etc. A lot of my characters have darker skin because, well, they're from the southern end of my world. It's just geography, right?

The sky is very ominous and creates another facet to your character. I really dig the proportions of the woman... gotta love those muscles.

Thats really wonderful painted!!! Watching it is really interessting, because you can find so many things to gaze ^^ I like her brown skin tone, most I saw brighter ones, a brown woman is something new and nice to watch. And I really amire how you painted her clothes, so detailed in painted the folding.But at most I admire the hair!!! Really fantastically!!! I love it!!

I love the colour scheme you used, especially on the sky (it just looks so real^^). The character pose is quite cool aswell (hehe, when will you tell more about your worlds?), even though I think she seems to be a bit... seperate from the background.

Looking good, the extra time you spent on this really shows. Some crits, the rock and field could use more colour variation, and the hand might be too big proportionally. Overall a great step forward for you I think

Very beautiful, you should be proud of yourself.
It's all uniformly low-contrast, I'd reccommend some small areas of highlight so it doesn't become too muddled-together.
her farther leg is a little atrophied. If the thigh is really jsut foreshortened, you need to make the knee come forward more, by making it bigger. If that's just a normal leg, the whole thigh needs to be a mite longer.
She has a very sexy stomach. I wish my monitor wasn't so purple.

well, if you continue on at the rate you're going, you'll do awesome.
why not just try adding more depth to your shadows? if it looks like it'd be out of the light, then add some really dark colour. 's pretty much what I do.
