A Frost Dragon for my upcoming how-to-draw dragons book, DragonArt: Evolution. The book will be out August 2010 and will be cover to cover dragons. During the process of creating this image, I discovered just how difficult it is to make a white creature: If you make them pure white, they look unrealistic, but if you deviate too much from white itself, the creature looks muddy. This is a great picture. You really pulled off making something white. It is tricky. It was great to add blue in the picture, because it helps bring out the icy look.

I like this one! it reminds me of the Dragon from the Rowan of Rin kids book [GREAT series btw, you should check it out, in fact... I might just have a commission for you (^^,). Read the first book in the series, and try to give me YOUR impression of the Bukshah. I am greatly interested in other peoples' takes' on the creatures found in there as I would like to make a movie about it someday. Perhaps a consultant job for you down the line? who knows? (^^,)]
