Beautiful work, sweetie! Such a nice contrast of soft and rugged textures, and the lighting is just amazingly pleasing to the eye. Great job isolating such a simple yet powerful composition.

Can't wait to see more of your Olympic peninsula shots go up soon! I know you've got so much more beauty to share with us.

Nice choice with the 8 second exposure, it really adds such a soft and delicate look to the pool of water beneath the waterfall. And, despite using a small aperture, I don't see any signs of diffraction, so nice work there!

thank you! diffraction wasnt too bad on this on in the RAW either, was cleaned up nicely with a little sharpness

Excellent! I visited Marymere as part of our Olympic Peninsula trip in May, and insisted upon shooting the entire waterfall from the one-and-only vantage point. I should have been a bit more creative. Good job!

much appreciated, Greg! Had visited here last year and when i came around the bend, found four photographers standing directly in front of the fall, knew i had to try and get a unique perspective this time around. that entrance to the ONP is closed for construction and the fall i was actually headed for was not accessible..so had plenty of time to do so

You definitely achieved a unique perspective. Well done!
