Perhaps moving the birds to the other side might have helped and yes I agree on the pose. The reference wasn't that easy to use as it is taken on a somewhat downward angle but sufficed enough for what I wished to do. It was mostly a practice for anatomy and a quick Christmas card for family and friends. Turned out better than I had thought. Still plenty of room for improvement. Thank you.

The idea of using blurry effect is very good. The blur helps give it some perspective. As thing move away from the viewers it gets harder to see. The work also has some strong blue giving it a calm feeling. The creases on the dress are nice and energetic. The violin blend in to much with the back ground. You may want to add some shadows. Also when you blur an image you want it to be consistent. The cardinals on the tree that is blurry are too crisp. Also the mountains are too crisp when they should be the most blurred objects in the image.

Always a good thing seeing anthro characters putting their species traits to good use as if it was the most natural thing ever. Minus twenty degrees Celsius? Perhaps the snow leopardess contemplates the wisdom of leaving the matching hat at home - after all, it is getting a bit hot in the sun...

I really like this piece. The cardinals work to draw the eye to the violin and from there to the snow leopard. The soft shades and hues each compliment one another and continue to draw the eye back to the main subject, the snow leopard. The blur effect that pervades the background is used properly and accentuates the snowy landscape, giving it the effect of a mesmerizing winter scene. The mountains did strike me as a bit strange for a brief moment but I took into account that this could be a matter of perspective and the mountains are crisp as they are truly massive.
Sadly I do not have premium membership so I cannot place this as a proper critique, if I could then I would give a 4 1/2 to 5 star deviant rating.

ok, so, we have a digital futur good artist here. i also like the "treeearth " one but ill comment here.
your ideas behind are really good. good allegory and good poetic touch. you should still work on the precision of your line in digital because sometimes it looks not clean ( here the breast clothes ) but basically its good enough. you could make for sure illustration for books or novels cover

That's a really nice picture. So soft colours, so peaceful.. I can almost hear the violin
The only critique I might say would be about the anatomics, the pose isn't very natural. And maybe the hair could be a bit stronger, so the leopard would stand out with the birds.
But nevertheless - the picture is really beautiful

Thank you. Yes I agree the pose isn't the most natural and the reference was a shot sort of taken from above but at least she has a tail to help balance her. It's just mostly curled behind her. 
Was quite difficult to find a ref of someone playing a violin or similar that wasn't cut off at the waist
