ok, so this is kinda funny...the title and original art never really matched up. her "blue room" was originally a very warm, orange room... and for some reason, i never went back and fixed that. so today instead of working on what i should be working on (at this point, i think it's supposed to be a quick fix on a business card
) i dropped this old ting into lightroom, adjusted this and that, and just a re-uploaded it. here is the original write up:
"So I went back and read through some things about how to make the first 2 images better, and Your Blue Room is the result.
It's a combination of the last 2...a girl and her cat, crappy home...dystopian future....you know, the stuff that dreams are made of!
I'll see if I can't conjure up a story in the next few days.
Until then, Daz3d 4.6 Beta for the render, CS6 for the post.
I would love to hear what you all think of it, and I would love to hear any other suggestions! So please, comments are wanted and welcome!"

The blue of the room really contrasts her fiery hair. She really adds warmth to the picture, a living, breathing being amidst the cold steel environment. You did an amazing job!

as the center of the room, she needs to be the life...to be able to breathe the warmth into the picture. the original was done in very warm tones, and it felt almost too inviting. like you'd be uncomfortable in there. i like the way this feels. thank you for noticing the subtlety of her presence...

hehe.....thanks ladyofthelake! i still like 3Dlight....although i don't think i've actually used it in years. i think i might try this one again in iray....maybe not. all the atmophere is painted in post in ps. i don't know if i want to do that again!

first off, thank you! and, no, i don't...i'm not even sure on how to make those....in fact for a long time i didn't even think anyone was going to be interested in my art, let alone how i made it! but it's an interesting idea and something i'll look into, if anyone really wants to know....i do like to share!
