Description
For three hours, skipping all my classes I watched this bird.

In that time I discovered, with no small amount of sadness, that people are so focused on moving forward, on secluding themselves from the world around them by means of earbuds and cell phones that they refuse to notice what's around them. This bird swooped over peoples heads, but most did not notice.

That's why I thank whomever I should thank that I was gifted with the ability to take notice. To be a photographer and an author and see those things that people have become blind to.

I also discovered that this bird loves to people watch. I have pictures of him looking directly at me, with a cockeyed expression. He knew I was there, so I'm grateful he allowed me to take these photos.

Okay, that's the end of my rant.
