I think her hair will grow again - this takes place quite early after she had cutted of it

you are welcome I drew her with long hairs, but Luthien was probably so mesmerizing even without hair she would look very pretty haha - a 'modern version' of her would be cool as you did

Well, it wasn't supposed to be modern version. I just wanted to follow text of book   I think it's pretty romantic that she was able to relinquish part of her beauty for Beren

OK, I guess it's really weird, but let me explain that.
When she was making her magic cloak, she cut of almost all of her hair (I think if she loves Beren so much, she can give him all - including her hair too ). This picture takes place only a month or month and few weeks after it, so her hair is still short. But before the story ends, it will grow again
And the idea that girl cuts her hair because of her lover is one of most romantic for me
I hope you will understand despite my poor English
