Please comment and tell me what you think. I'm trying to get some practice doing sequentials. Here's my rendition of a sample script of the X-Men. This is page 6 of 6. I enjoy feedback as long as it's constructive.pencils on bristol

Nice work! Layouts are nice and clear. Your anatomy is good, though you might want to work a bit on your foreshortening. I love the space ship design in panel 3, and the facial expressions in panel 4 are really good. I like this page a lot!

Thank you very much! Yeah I think I struggle sometimes with foreshortening on a large scale because I tend to have my face too close to my work and lose focus on the total structure. I'm glad you like the ship because I don't have a lot of experience drawing mechanical or technological things.

I too have problems with foreshortening. It's hard not to make the arms and legs look like stumps sometimes. Yeah, that ship was really well done, the angle was very effective too. Good luck with your samples!

I can't quite put a finger on it..but..there is something not right in that standing guy on the last panel... his arm an neck..looks kind of ..i dunno flat ..also his face is in a wrong position if you look at his chest
Although...the lying down dude is great

I think you're right. I'm not completely in love with how the page turned out in general, but yeah, I think his head would need to be moved forward (left on the panel) and slightly up. I scrunched his neck too much. I was happy with the guy lying down (Absorbing Man). I actually liked how he looked almost better when I turned the paper and looked at it from other angles.

Well..as i'm looking right now i see another strange thing...about that lying guy

I could have put more curve in it, but actually if you put your arm straight out, your deltoid and pec line up with only a slight curve on the lower part of the shoulder. even if you look at really muscular guys, the more you raise your hand in the air, the more your shoulder and chest muscles line up together. (though I do admit I need to add some more dynamic lines)

i think its pretty gud i love. ib trying to do the same thing but im kinda stumped on what the story could be about. maybe we could work on some projects sometime soon
