I just finished Ender's Game, and your depiction of Ender is amazing... this is basically his entire meaning in the book. "... Ender carried with him a dried white cocoon..."

Oh but I love his face and hands. I think perhaps keeping the background simpler in terms of tones -- only 3 tones maybe or only 2 -- might have helped with the contrasts, but I think you achieved everything very well!

Yeah that'd probably have been more effective...
I honestly didn't think about the background as
much as I should have. I-:
But thanks!

Yeah, it's easy to get carried away with the main focus of an image and kind of wind up with the background being an afterthought. I do that a lot haha. c: But either way, stellar!

Why yes, of course! I just personally prefer the Ender's Saga as a set;
the whole thing has so much more depth that way and really expanses
the idea of communication with the unknown and what not. (-:

Really love your rendering style, its really unique as its cell shaded, yet still has a lot of tone c: I'm completely in love with it! I also don't know Ender ...but now i'm kinda curios about it o:

Aaw, thank you!
I have to admit that I did spend most time on the hands so hey,
good to hear it didn't go to waste. (-:

I really like the sculptural quality of this drawing! The more detailed, light areas are a nice contrast to the simple black. Lovely!
