For the record, im not at all against this stuff. I love Miles Morales being the "black" Spiderman. I think Harley Quinn being BI was a great idea. Im glad its part of society now and that people don't have to be afraid of it.
But there are SO. MANY. EXAMPLES of it being done poorly in media that it gets sickening. Stick to regular ol' plotlines unless you're gonna do it good.

The thing with Miles is he's not Peter Park turned black, he's his own character who took on the mantle of Spider-Man. That's fine, but when you race swap a character JUST to have another character whose so and so despite already having better done characters, is lazy.
Characters who are their own character but poorly done, like Kamala Kahn and America Chavez are examples of poorly done.

Agreed, its the laziness that gets me. There are examples of race swaps already that worked for DC/Marvel. Robbie Reyes is a great character, for example, because his background isn't "Im Hispanic".
