Wow. It's only with your picture that I realized the contrast between those two.
M-0 is sleek, clean, and orderly, with no unnecessary gaps in his plating. Wall-E is scuffed, dirty, and the gears for his treads are clearly visible. It really shows that he's seven hundred years older.

This is the best Wall-E drawing on deviantart. Very good shadowing. The shading lines are very consistent. It's like an exact copy from the film.
