My name is Duffy!
Minnie made me to be a friend for Mickey when he travels to faraway places. We've been to all kinds of places! But I can't wait to go to more! I wanna learn all kinds of things about the world!

Personality: A cheerful, innocent teddy bear who loves to explore new places. He can be shy when meeting new people, but is quick to warm up to them. He was created as a companion to Mickey, and dreams of being a brave adventurer just like him.
Abilities:
-He's very small, so he can fit into tight places.
-He can withstand large impacts since his insides are nothing but stuffing.
-Similar to Winnie the Pooh, he can easily be repaired if his fabric is torn. However, he has to get Minnie to do it for him.
-He COULD uses his cute looks as a matter of persuasion if he wanted to, but he's not smart or selfish enough to realize such a thing is possible.
-His sense of touch is very weak, so pain and extreme temperatures have little effect on him.
Habits: Trying out new things, exploring every little detail of a place, being friendly to everyone, approaching everything with enthusiasm, getting excited about even the smallest things, making up songs, asking lots of questions
Flaws:
-He's essentially a little kid, so he's very naive; if he's told something, he'll generally take it as fact until Mickey or Minnie tell him otherwise.
-He's easily frightened, especially when people purposely try to scare him (see above). This is a part of himself he really dislikes, and so he envies Mickey's bravery in the face of adversity.
-Over the past few months, he's gotten much braver and a bit smarter, but this can lead to him being overconfident and reckless.
-His curiosity can be a little too strong, getting him into messes he could've otherwise avoided.
-Being as young as he is, he has a very short attention span.
-Likewise, he's not the smartest. He can barely read, struggles with large words and idioms, and can only count up to 30 or so.
-His size has disadvantages of its own. Getting people to notice him can be tough. Plus, anything an average weight for a normal person seems significantly heavier to him.

Close neighbors who he sees often.
A motherly figure, and the only person he knows who can sew as well as Minnie, which comes in handy.
One of his best friends. Duffy's always there to bring some brightness into his life when things get tough, and he does the same in return.
The Sugar Rush racers are around his age, so they make good playmates.
They've gotten along better since he stopped trying to hurt him in various horrific ways, although they still have plenty of disagreements, particularly regarding his theories about what Duffy actually is and where he came from. Still, they do genuinely care about each other.
They only met for a brief time, but he finds her very interesting. He visits her frequently, and can't comprehend that she'd be a danger to him at all - at least, not to him personally.
A friend from the mountain. She knows that she's Elsa's sister, and is excited at the idea of them getting together again.

He'll insist he's not afraid of him, but...he is. Less so after he turned good, but he still can't shake it off completely.
Once she had her shark eat him and spit him out in the middle of Agrabah. He's developed a bit of a fear of swimming in the ocean since then.
Has a habit of tormenting people, and messing with Duffy's friends is enough to get him mad at you. Even worse is the fact that he can't do anything to stop it.
Upon meeting for the first time, he ripped him to shreds and nearly rendered him immobile. He's the one person Duffy has absolutely no tolerance for.
A "bully" who's threatened to eat his friends on numerous occasions.
Feelings are mixed...initially friends, but he's violated what Duffy considers 'the rules of love' so much it almost horrifies him.
Holds a grudge against her ever since she tricked Elsa.
HEADCANON
-Backstory uses "My Friend Duffy" (disney.wikia.com/wiki/My_Frien⦠) canon, with the setting changed to Toontown instead of Cape Cod.
-His birthday is March 20, the show's premiere date.
-He holds his friends very dear and will do anything he can to help them.
-He has faith in everyone, even the most unconfident or cold.
-His favorite food is chocolate brownies; he has an enormous sweet tooth.
-His favorite flavor of ice cream is cookie dough.
-His favorite drink is chocolate milk.
-Since true love brought him to life, he believes in it very strongly, and gets excited to meet couples.
-He can read people's emotions better than most people, even if his understanding of them is very simple.
-He knows that his life makes him different, but he tends to treat anything with something resembling a face as if it's alive anyway. When he was younger, this was bad enough that he would talk to electrical sockets.
-With enough focus, he can make his message in a bottle glow. This has always happened naturally in reaction to strong love; it's only recently he learned how to do it at will.
-So far, he and Mickey have been on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas, to Paris (for Disneyland Paris' 20th anniversary events), to New York City, and to Tokyo (for Tokyo Disneyland's 30th anniversary events).
-His bottle is the source of his life; whereas Duffy himself is vulnerable to things such as fire and multiple rips, it can withstand just about anything. The only thing that could destroy it and the note inside is dark magic, in which case Duffy would die.
-He has hemophobia, fear of blood; being that he doesn't have any nor do his toon friends, seeing someone bleeding is enough to get him panicking.
