What is it with this kid and inadvertently soliciting advice from improbably dressed animals , really?Tried something a bit different with this one: limited color scheme and loose lines and coloring. Messy, but fast--and really fun!
This feeling's been stealing over me for the past couple years: that life is slowly but surely being reduced to a series of deadlines and checklists, with no space in the margins for what's really important and what I really love. It doesn't take a whale with a vaguely foreign hat to tell you that's no way to live. But it helps...and that's why I made this comic.
One of the best ways to avoid making life a waking nightmare is to make life a waking dream.

you've Heard it all before im sure but this really makes me wish i had the slightest bit of artistic abiltities to go with my writing....
You really can move someone with a writing...and you can move someone with a drawing....but seeing the expressions on their faces, hearing their thoughts out loud...plus natural talent or a lucky moment---this is what makes me rethink my life

I read this when it was up as a Daily Deviation. I forgot the title, spent ages searching for it, and read it over a few more times.
This is so inspiring, seriously - the quirky characters and beautiful illustrations are one thing, yes, but understanding the meaning behind it... It's thought-provoking. That's what art is all about.
