Winter Whispers was completed this december and is my last canvas painting of 2009.Winter Whispers is a peaceful and serene painting, set on a glistening December evening, the painting features an enchanting unicorn with long flowing mane and tail, and her elegant snow hare companion... The two creatures glance back at you, perhaps beckoning you on into their land of magic and peace... The photo truly does not do the piece justice, each light I tried to capture it in left out something in the colour or detail so you will just have to trust me when I say it's even much better to look at in real life, it's truly one of my personal favourites.

Amazing. The lighting is the perfect blend of blue and yellow, the unicorn's pose and anatomy are amazing, and I love how the sun is rising.
